Andrew is a versatile, experienced professional composer of concert music and music for the theatre that has been performed throughout the UK and on the continent. He is currently involved with Sound and Music's 'Portfolio' scheme (writing music inspired by Japanese Noh theatre) and has recently taken part in the Jerwood Opera Writing Scheme resulting in a new chamber opera.  His music has been performed by ensembles and performers including the Schubert Ensemble, BCMG, Britten Sinfonia, Orkest de Ereprijs, Workers Union Ensemble, London Chamber Orchestra, Kokoro, Thallein Ensemble, Thumb, Darragh Morgan and Mary Dullea, Henry Herford, Duo Noveau and Construction Site Ensemble.  Andrew's music has featured at a number of festivals including the Londond Sinfonietta's Festival in a Day (the Rest is Noise) Rosemary Branch Festival, Guildford International Festival and the 21st International Review of Composers in Belgrade, Serbia.


Recent commissions include music for the London Sinfonietta and Chroma (Kettle's Yard Cambridge)


His music for the theatre includes commissions from the Arts Council England and Eastleigh Borough Council as well as music for a production of Richard III that was toured in France.
